ABOUT Oliver

Oliver Biles is a freelancer who works in the performance, presenting, creative & tennis industries. 

He trained as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London graduating in 2011. From there he went to work on various TV and stage shows that took him all over the world. 

Late in 2017 he left his life in London to embark on a journey around the world and explore other avenues.

Oliver attended the World Series of Poker in 2019 working as a presenter & producer for popular website PokerNews. 

 

After impressing the PokerNews team that summer, he was then asked to work as the interim Head of Video for four months. He was responsible for all of the video content in this period as well as developing unique & fresh creative ideas.

 

In December 2019 he was solely responsible for producing all of the video content for PokerNews at the famous European Poker Tour hosted by PokerStars in Prague.

Late in 2018 Oliver decided to enter a vlogging competition to win a PokerStars Platinum Pass worth $30,000. The challenge was to create five videos in five weeks. Ultimately he went on to win this challenge and continued creating videos throughout the following year on his own YouTube channel.

He started working for high stakes professional poker player Charlie Carrel becoming his videographer & editor. He went on to accompany Carrel to Rozvadov and Barcelona where he created a series of vlogs documenting his journey in high stakes poker tournaments. 

He has proceeded to work for other clients editing and shooting videos for them.

Oliver has always been considered to be very creative and was commended on his originality throughout a vlogging competition where he was chosen from 200 participants to win a $30,000 package. 

He has worked with various individuals in developing creative ideas for their brand or business to help with marketing and promotion. 

He is now available for consultation on suggestions for your own brand or business and has the ability to turn these ideas into a reality with his skills as a videographer and editor.

 

tennis

Oliver started working as a fully qualified professional tennis coach in 2009 and subsequently coached adults and children for 8 years in London.

 

In this time he was also elected as the Vice Chair of the British Tennis Youth Group which was a consultative body for the British Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). Their job was to sustain and increase participation amongst the younger generation across the whole of England.

Oliver has now moved into coaching tennis online through the use of video analysis & mentorship.
